Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself as a results oriented professional in this fabulous world of beauty.
I have a previous background in Merchandising with a focus in purchasing and retail store management. My passion for learning, collaboration and growth piloted my journey in the Cosmetology industry at John Amico School of Hair Design. Subsequently, I returned to John Amico for further education and currently hold my Cosmetology Teacher’s License.
It is with John Amico that I learned a great deal about my sense of style along with theoretical, practical and technical/creative hairdressing skills. These learnings afforded me many advantages both behind the chair and corporately that were only available to a polished licensed professional.
I most recently completed a productive tenure directing the Education strategies, training and curriculum for McBride Research Laboratories and previously with L’Oreal, USA. I currently work as a Field Manager for InStyle Salons responsible for the collaborated success of many salons in 3 unique Districts.
My Cosmetology Instructor’s license not only assisted me with technical training abilities, but also has helped me further embrace the necessary people skills and business acumen to effectively direct, mentor and build a high performing team environment. A large key learning taken from my Teacher’s Education is “Being flexible and working hard to be clear, concise, timely, conscious and fair will help power progressive growth”
My foremost passion is learning from and helping elevate the talent and drive of tomorrow’s premier hairdressers!
